The Second Inquisition has come. It has left the Sabbat in absolute shambles, and has hit the Camarilla only somewhat milder. Many places lay in ruin, such as the Tremere Chantry in Vienna. Mortals have used technology against Kindred, and the surveillance state has only facilitated their efforts that more effectively. Most kindred have outright abandoned the use of technology, not even the Nosferatu withstanding.

The main government agency behind this is [[https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/FIRSTLIGHT|FIRSTLIGHT]]. They are an advanced, ruthless agency responsible for many final deaths. Technologically advanced, financed by a super-power government, and with a desire to eliminate threats, they are not a force to trifle with.

The Elders have been called to various parts of the world. No one can say for sure for what. Those who know have left, and those who haven't can barely speak on the matter. Some have joined their Elders, maybe for a spot of recognition or favor? All that is truly known is that fledgling and ancillae alike are largely in control over themselves.

The Camarilla has seen some major changes and fluctuations as of late. Coteries have been sprouting up much more rapidly and have been able to garner a considerable amount of influence. Many domains have sought the wisdom of a Principal of Faith for matters pertaining to faith and humanity. Prince's have largely eschewed the services of Scourge, to many Caitiff and Thin-Blood's delight. 

The Gangrel and Brujah Clans have finally decided to take their permanent leave from the Camarilla. The Anarchs have benefited greatly from their choice to join the movement. A faction of the Banu Haqim find their gambit to join the Camarilla successful, fleeing from a blood god who has awoken to claim the seat of their eldest. The Followers of Set, now known as The Ministry, also have bolstered the Anarchs ranks. While this has hit the Camarilla heavy, they did manage to secure an unlikely ally from a former enemy - Clan Lasombra. While much of the clan has stayed behind to continue their crusade against the anti-deluvians in the Sabbat, the majority have found refuge among the Camarilla (for the right price).

The various faces of the Clan of Death – Giovanni, Harbingers of Ashur, los infitiores, the Nation of Blood, and others – rejoin forces in a terrible Family Reunion. They reclaim their ancient clan name: the multifaceted Hecata.
