Status Rules Summary

//(Laws of the Night LARP Rules)//

Overview

Each session, every player gets one or more points of Support and Opposition they may publicly give to another player. Your Status goes up (or down) based on how much Support or Opposition you receive, but it takes multiple sessions to see any changes. Each level of Status you have comes with a Moniker: a flavorful descriptor such as honorable or feared. The Prince and their court may be able to bypass these rules to affect your Status directly.

Basics

  • All characters begin at Status 1.
  • Only characters who are accepted in the domain may give Support or Opposition.
  • Each level of Status comes with a Moniker such as Acknowledged, Trustworthy, Honorable, or Feared.
  • * Monikers are mostly a matter of flavor: the characters who supported you collectively agree on the Moniker you receive.
  • * If someone with a title increases your Status, they assign you the Moniker.
  • * The Moniker for Status 1 is always Acknowledged (if you’re a Camarilla member) or Accepted (If you’re a non-Camarilla member)
